New update! It's taken me a lot longer than I'd care to admit, but I fixed Dash Boosts! Now I can say that 100% of the game's features are working within reasonable expectations! Are they all perfect? Not quite, I think a lot of tuning needs to occur, and the actual "game feel" isn't perfect (still a lot of missing or unfinished things, like weapon switch animations, some audio things, etc). But the actual mechanics are all working and are ready for people to test/give feedback on!

As for next steps, I'm not sure what will be next. I want to make new/revamped level designs,  but level design is not my forte. There's some smaller things I need to work on, maybe some new movement options (rocket jumping is one that's probably easy + fun). But for now I'm excited/happy with how far the project's come in about a year.

One more thing, some Pistol weapons were added, mostly for testing a new type of weapon. They're not good currently, but left them in in case people wanted to test them, give feedback on whether they COULD be fun, etc.

Super cool that you could get dash boosts working again! Rocket jumping sounds really cool, and the rocket launcher could use some love, so I like that idea. I think the pistols are fine, but the style of the pistols I don't think would fit well, super shotgun with a hook to launch everywhere, rocket launcher to also launch the player around, and then dual pea shooters. Weaker weapons are fine, but it should feel strong like a heavy duty revolver like Overkill's pistol. I also think some work into animations for weapon swapping, firing a weapon, and shooting a weapon should be one of the next things to be worked on. It doesn't have to be 100% finished if you're not sure if you want a certain weapon, or if you're not sure on what you want a weapon to do/it's role in the player's arsenal. I love the direction so far, and am excited to watch the game grow!
